Several Options Available For Ferris State Hockey Fans To Watch The Bulldogs

Ferris State University hockey fans will have an opportunity to listen and/or view the Bulldogs in this weekend's (Nov. 2 and 4) two-game Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) series at Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio.

The puck will drop for this Friday's (Nov. 2) series opening contest at 7:05 p.m. (EDT) while Sunday's (Nov. 4) matchup will begin at 2:05 p.m. (EDT). Both league outings will be held at OSU's Value City Arena.

Live video streaming of both games this weekend is available online by visiting for subscription information. Cost is $9.95 for a monthly Buckeye Vision Subscription and $6.95 for a monthly audio-only membership. No per game rate is available.

Evan Case
Ferris State Hockey fans have an opportunity this weekend to watch junior defenseman Evan Case and the Bulldogs battle Ohio State in a two-game CCHA road series.

Fans can also tune in to both games on WWBR Big Country Radio (100.9 FM) with Bill Beckwith calling the action. An audio webcast is also available on the Ferris State Athletics website by clicking on the Bulldog Athletics Webcasts banner.

Ferris State, under 16th-year head coach Bob Daniels, is currently 2-3-1 overall and 1-1-0 in CCHA play to date this 2007-08 season.

Following this weekend's series, the Bulldogs return home to the friendly confines of the Ewigleben Ice Arena to host the Bowling Green State Falcons next weekend, Nov. 9-10, in Big Rapids, Mich. Games times are 7:05 p.m. (EST) for the opening encounter while the series finale is scheduled for a 5:05 p.m. (EST) opening faceoff.

Hockey reserved single-game tickets are currently on sale and prices are $12 (adult), $8 (K-12) and $5 (FSU students) for all games with the exception of the two premier CCHA contests against Michigan State (Dec. 7) and Michigan (March 1). The premier game tickets, which will be $16 apiece, will go on sale Monday, Oct. 22. Six 2007-08 home contests have been designated as family nights and consist of four tickets to the game, four soft drinks and two popcorns all for only $32.

In addition, fans can also contact the FSU Athletics Ticket Office inside the ice arena directly Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EDT) at (231) 591-2888.
