The Ferris State University Athletics Department will begin accepting season ticket applications for the 2008-09 Bulldog Hockey season starting this Monday (Aug. 4) for those fans wishing to reserve their seats.

Fans will have the option of renewing online, mail in renewal forms, or contact the FSU ticket office at (231) 591-2888. Individuals will be able to select from general community reserved, kids K-12, FSU students, FSU faculty/staff, and senior citizens. The 2008-09 season tickets will remain on sale until Friday, Sept. 12.

The pricing structure for the 2008-09 Bulldog Hockey season tickets is $165 for adults, $155 for FSU faculty/staff and senior citizens (age 65 and over), $99 for K-12 kids, and $80 for Ferris State students with valid ID, which includes a $10 Bulldog jersey. Fans who elect to purchase the 2008-09 season ticket package will save over 25% compared to purchasing individual-game tickets for all 19 scheduled Ferris State hockey home outings.

Those who wish to purchase tickets for only Fridays and/or only Saturdays may also do so at a cost of $90 per season ticket. A total of nine Friday and Saturday games apiece will be conducted during the 2008-09 regular season.

Ferris State Athletics and Meijer will team up for the second straight season to sponsor Bulldog Hockey Family Nights promotions. The nine dates are Oct. 10-11, Nov. 1, Nov. 21, Dec. 5, Dec. 12, Jan. 9, Jan. 17, and Jan. 30. The cost for each family hockey night is $32 which consists of four tickets to the game, four sodas and two bags of popcorn.

Single-game tickets will go on sale Sept. 22 with prices set at $12 for adults, $10 senior citizens, and $8 for kids K-12. The cost for the two premium contests - Feb. 7 versus Michigan State and Feb. 27 against Michigan - is $16 per person. FSU students with valid ID will be charged $6 per individual for the two in-state matchups.

Ferris State is coming off a productive 2007-08 season as the Bulldogs produced an 18-16-5 overall record and placed fifth in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) with a 12-12-4 league mark (28 points) under head coach Bob Daniels.
